Lovely stay!
ground floor comfortable bed
The staff were helpful, they found us a room on the ground floor because of our walking sticks. The room had a nice size shower and it was very clean. The bed was also comfortable. I slept like a log. The breakfast I had was very good and value for money, improvements seems to be work is getting done.

The staff were always very pleasant, they smiled and said hello every time. They were very helpful and they gave quick responses to requests. I appreciated this high level of service.

The Double Room I stayed in was spacious and comfy, it was also very clean. I found the bed particularly comfortable and it was nice. The room has good heating on.

Breakfast was value for money. The food was of a good quality. The hotel is at present under refurbishment inside, that didn't affect my stay. Local shops near the hotel, shops are within 300 yards.

Excellent Stay
friendly staff good location
The staff are very friendly (they were always smiling) and helpful. The hotel is in a good location, convenient for both the town and the beach. I had a lovely cooked breakfast prepared by Adele. Nothing seemed too much trouble for her. I will stay again soon.
The scaffolding outside caused some inconvenience. It detracted from the beauty of the building, but I understand building work is necessary for upkeep (and hopefully improvements!).

My room included a TV with adequate volume, great. The heating worked very well and kept the room cozy despite the weather. Clean towels were available.

I enjoyed the breakfast, reasonably priced and prepared with care. The breakfast included several cooked options, along with tea and coffee. It was a great start to the day.

clean room helpful staff excellent chef
the hotel was very clean (everything was super clean). the staff was helpful and attentive to my needs. i got a good deal for my stay and felt it was worth the money i paid. the chef's nightly specials were particularly excellent.
the hotel entrance looked slightly run down.
